Anyone thought how shields will work? My approach would be to create an elliptical barrier based in the terrain generation code (Think like a transparent asteroid thats hollow for implementation) and make it so that the shield is destructible on it's individual faces, like terrain is now. At the other end would be a shield generator block, that refills shield hp/repairs shield gaps at a fixed rate.
