How do you 'pick up' placed items?

Hi Peeps,

Just bought this game so know 'nowt' at the moment...but I have just placed my 'O2 Generator' (on bloody land) and cant move it to the water....is there any way of doing this? (survival mode)

Any help would be stellar! (see what I did there? you like that didnt you!)
