I fell through the world! :-(

I was doing some digging (not even deep) and then suddenly fell through the world mesh. I saw the world above me for a short time, and now see only sky. Last I checked, I was falling at about 400 m/s through the void.

I suppose I can suicide to go back to my med bay at my base, but I hate to lose my inventory to a bug.
