Things that would really improve the experience

I spent a few days making this list, then divided into [my own] categories to try to sort it a bit, but after the hours I've put in and some of the upgrades I've seen come out, I feel each of these things could be "just around the corner" and greatly enhance gameplay. This is by no means a definitive list, and could be added to / debated about quite easily, but I think they're all reasonable and realistic asks.
