What about blocks that can be used to create a ship repair landing pad? You could load it up with charges and then just land a ship there to be repaired. I just flew my first CV to another planet and got too close to an enemy base. It took me almost an hour to run around my ship and find all the blocks that needed repaired.
If there is a easier way to repair ships other than running around using the repair gun, I sure would like to know.
