Creating Alien Bases

I've tried everything suggested before in previous threads, and still can't get it to work. I'm not sure if it's a bug, or just not added yet.

Please make adding Alien Faction bases possible. I would like to test a base or two to see if it's too hard/easy to get into, but nothing I do makes it fire at me.

Alien Core: Check
Added to Alien ('Aln') faction: Check
Fuel: Check.
Alien turrets/Player turrets, making sure they're "Planet/Space", ammo, powered/loaded: Check

Nothing works.
