Neon signs would be a great addition IMO. Custom messages in bright vivid colors to see from far off. That way I could make a little orbital space bar/diner or a fast food joint to sell hungry travelers space fries and burgers.. Oh and in my imaginary planet side city the neon signs would liven it all up with the help of npcs.
