I recently noticed my device count ballooning on a large base I've been building, while I hadn't really been adding anything non-block wise besides some lights and was trying to figure out what it was. I looked in the control panel and sure enough I only had about 120 devices in the controllable units list.
So I had several elevator columns and I figured the elevator blocks were being counted as devices. So I deleted a bunch and resaved the blueprint, but my device count still wasn't going...
