Water, Landing Gear, On-Board H2O Systems

I was just thinking that it would be neat if a CV or SV could land in water, pump water into a tank, and then feed it through an on-board H2/O2 Generator. Perhaps specialized landing gear could contain the pumps.

Or, if the time element of waiting for the H2/O2 Generator to work is desirable, then maybe skip the water tanks and let the landing gear feed water to an on-board H2/O2 Generator.
