Add support for LUA (a scripting language) with access to server data like resource levels, time of day, market place data, faction info, etc. People could then write Apps to automate LCD display messages, make scrolling text, and other info-tron type displays. The Apps could be 'bought' using credits or could be free.
Could make an 'Arrival Board' for a space station or a 'NEWS' app that reports the latest Drone attacks on the planet. Could even have a 'Personals' section for people to hook up.
