Scaffold block and/or diagonal attachment points

For building curved things, where you need to put two blocks on a diagonal from each other, it would be nice to have a scaffold block to put in place that can then be removed with one hit from the R&R. Maybe something made of plastic.

Diagonal attachment would be another way to allow faster/easier building of curved stuff. It gets really tedious when you're building something that goes on both diagonals at the same time.
