Now I know why my brother has quit the game for about a month now. The Radar station is way way way OP, homing rockets you cannot dodge and "one hit" you right out of your cockpit. This is just bad game development pure and simple. You should not have to use a PVP build to take out a tutorial base. You have no speed to dodge, no counter measures, no longer range weapons, nothing. You just have to sit there and tank the damage. I am sorry if some people have a "dank souls" fetish, but this...

I was just having a conversation with Rainyday and Kaeser about this, and I thought I would open it up to a larger audience/input. What music do people listen to when they build in creative?

While classical music tends to be my go to in my day-to-day, I found that I could not really listen to it in creative. So I turn to a smattering of techno, rap/hip hop, Bassnectar and related material, and possibly even other video game music.

Include links and info! I would like to hear it!

A couple people (including me) suggested the possibility to create custom factions by assigning vessels and bases to them, I think it's the most interesting idea that arised on these forums in a very long time, with the highest potential of fun and replayability, not to mention it could finally make use of the gazillion of blueprints on the workshop, something like the SSG but FG (Faction generator).

First off, I want to impress that I'm a long time player of this game and I'm very excited about its potential. I've spent many hours building ships and playing on multiplayer servers and while it's been a lot of fun, there's always that feeling of incompleteness where there's no real direction or destination to aspire to. I know it's an alpha game and much isn't implemented, but at this stage, like many other players, I'm concerned where this game is ultimately headed.

Not sure where this belongs but anyways I used steamCMD to install a server on my local machine. Now, it’s been a couple versions since I’ve played so I know there’s a bit of a curve getting going again. My issue is this...

In the server cfg it seems there are a lot less settings that I recall. Things like ore quantities, starting world, difficulty, etc.

Where can I find a good reference tool or full config or should I be using an admin tool? I want to get the details clear before I move...

Please consider:

Turret Hotbar Binding.
  • In the control panel page for that turret, have a check box to allow that single turret only to be bound to the next available hot bar space, within the item array.
  • Check to add, un-check to remove.
  • Once bound, pressing that HNK (hot-bar number key) will place the player in to turret view of that bound turret.
  • To exit press any other HNK to select another weapon, swapping out the turret view for the previous 1st/3rd...

Greetings Everyone,

I have been playing for approximately 6 weeks and here are my list of things i would think would improve the game UI. I am sure some of these have been mention before.

1) Multiplayer Server List Bookmark Tab:
- it would be nice to be able to bookmark server you play on.

2) Control Panel:
- Ability to select multiple devices for moving them to a group. This would speed up grouping.
- removing the growing lamps from the Lamps on/off toggle. (would be nice to turn off all...

How come the Deco-Bed works Sleeping wise (At Night) in the Default Singleplayer.
But on a MP server it does not. Nothing appears to use ei.. F to sleep at night.

Procedure:

1st make sure you have notepad++ https://notepad-plus-plus.org/

Ill use the Default Multiplayer scenario as a example.

Open the sectors folder then open the sectors.yaml in notepad++
