EAH is under active development and we are always looking into features which can boost your or your players experience in Empyrion.

However, even if EAH offers some game-play features like the EAH Auto Miner it doesn't mean this is the common or only way to request features.
For that please refer to the proper threads in the forum.

CV Landing Gear

Pretty minor issue I know, but still. I suggest being able to make CV landing gear in a Large Constructor. Currently you can make everything to build a basic CV minus Warp in a Large Constructor. Cockpit, thrusters, generators, fuel tanks etc, but you need an Advanced Constructor to make the landing gear. All it takes to make the landing gear are Mechanical Components and Electronics so having to use a AC must have been an oversight.

Description: Being near one of the poles on a planet stops time. My base is next to the south pole and the clock is stuck at 24:00 but the sun keeps moving. It is night and I cannot sleep in the bed to pass the night. Cause the sun doesn't completely go down and it stops the clock at 24:00. And when I try to sleep I get a prompt that says I can only sleep at night.

I'm saying this respectfully and with sincere consideration for the fact that this is something you have created and that you care for deeply. When I say this, please know that it's not easy for me to criticize anyone's art, ever.

First of all, to the good. I love this game. I have almost a thousand hours in it. This is by no means intended in any way negatively with regards to your incredible game and achievement.

Rather than speculation and feature requests I hope to maybe get some ideas if any from the dev team about what they think about the EGS water and what plans if any are considered for its future use.
(I understand that at this time this is less than priority)

Players are building boats, pumping stations, oil rigs and even nice scenic little docks and harbours based on players real world visited locations.

-So I host a co-op session with 3 players and my CV's (thus far) just stop mid flight. At first I thought the game was frozen till I "f" out of my seat. The other players have not experienced this yet (if that helps narrow the issue). Rebooting the server fixes the stuck CV but it happens again and again.

-Guess i should add...the issue happened the day of 1.4 update came out...we were playing the older version originally. Dunno if that is a factor but worth mentioning maybe.

The current implementation of gravity generators leaves a lot to be desired. The spherical area around them basically means that any ship design that doesn't fit within that ball is going to either have holes in its gravity field, or is going to have zones of overlapping gravity where just going down some stairs can result in getting injured.

This would be relatively easy to solve by simply adding a large 3x3 gravity generator that creates a larger sphere, or by adding an advanced gravity...

Hallo,
Da ich es leid bin die ganze Zeit nach meinem Problem erfolglos zu suchen, frage ich das hier mal in die Runde.
Außer so einigen Problemen ( z.b. CPU Limit) habe ich mich immer gefragt warum die Lampen/Scheinwerfer immer durch die Blöcke scheinen. Was mich wundert ist, das es entweder keinem stört, oder es schon mal was darüber gab, aber ich nicht gelesen habe. Ich bin gerade mein zweites großes Raumschiff am bauen, hier die Beispiele mit dem Licht.

It's so desirable that I wonder why the suggestions are not full of this request, it's also so standard in other games that happen to have ships or vehicles with turrets: A single keystroke to access them, same stroke again to toggle to the next one etc. It is lame slow to access them via control panel, that's not enough.
If you think that introducing this would give a too big advantage to the player, then simply make a weapon loading delay when hitting this command, but introduce it please....

This would be such a huge quality of life feature, it's hard to believe that has not been done already. It's absolutely bizarre that you can't set up the hotbar on your ships cockpit to enter a turret when you press a number key instead of having to go through the ship's menu every single time for example.

Pretty much all functions that you can control through the ship's menu should be accessible via hotkey, especially things like taking control of a turret.

The turret AI in this game fires whatever weapon its controlling the second it comes into range of an enemy, even if the turret itself is not pointed at that enemy yet. For most turrets this is a minor inconvenience, when one out of 100 bullets misses, but for things like artillery turrets this is a complete dealbreaker. The only big advantage of artillery is its massive alpha damage, but it's guaranteed to miss the first shot when you come into range, so the only way to get any useful shots...
