Description:

Game started in 9.2, currently running 9.4, issue occurred twice when I was running 9.3.

It happened to me twice, and I have seen other people mentioning the issue on discord recently, so I thought I'd report it.

While I normally am quite fond of the newer tracks, One of the new one--temperate starter new-is driving me over the edge....just constant nerve wracking on going tension inducing run on nervous making song track. It might not be so bad a single but it is on repeat over and over and over. So for the first time ever I turned off the music and went and loaded the endless space 2 sound track.

Part of this is related to a different thread of things that appears to have already been resolved, so this is mainly for the terrain part. When I crossed over the border of the map and landed on the other size, the game CoQ'ed and when it did that I exited the popup and looked behind me... And saw absolutely no terrain whatsoever, all of it unloaded. I'll post an image of it later, but here's the logfile that also contains one of the ones I sent through the mail. But reloading the game...

Hello!

I am currently having an issue where i have too much extra blank room in my spawn area for my CV so it is making it super difficult to spawn and it and i can't figure out how to make it smaller can anyone help me out???? posting a picture below thanks! View attachment 59319

This is a long-term suggestion to add for experienced players.

The ability to have the game start randomly pick a start world for you, and you don't know what type you are getting.

I know you can configure other worlds to be start world (I've done this for several :) ), but I still get to pick the world I land on.

It would be nice to say "Any of these worlds could be starters.... pick one, and surprise me"

And instead of getting a list of possible start worlds, I get dropped on a planet,...

I believe this will help counter dull and exploitative bases and CVs. Force the player to have the Core connected through a new type of block, a connector (sort of a conjunction of cables and tubes) with the Generators and between the generators. The same with generators and fuel tanks (also with the other devices and their respective tanks). I would go on with the Core and main cockpit and perhaps some others.
This will impact the player creativity, sure, but at least give more functional...

I havent played all that long but im on my third start just because i wanted to get most things right in a completed game.
Solo and nothing fancy on the settings except weight limit.
Anyways i tend to fiddle around and not get off the planet before im like lvl 24-25, doing all the quests spawning in my hauler "shockwave" that i designed for carrying a HW if that ever gets in game. Other than that its tilted in its parked state to use forward and upwards thrust for takeoff.

I've played for a long time but never really posted here. I've always thought the factory feature seemed pretty game "breaking" in a loose sense. It damages immersion and gameplay by being able to just spawn a ship out of your pocket. It bypasses the volume system by allowing infinite resource storage. Even the rule that prevents blueprints from being spawned except from a base is easily bypassed by simply carrying a core with you.

It is however a good opportunity to add additional...

Truth is: Your initial jump [default SPACE] does in fact use jetpack charge.

Suggestion: Initial jump doesn't take any jetpack charge. A second press of SPACE and every consecutive press of SPACE would utilize Jetpack Charge until it has been depleted as it usually does.

Allow this to be toggled in settings maybe so that if it isn't loved in implementation no one would be forced to use it until it is pulled by development.

Just played around a bit with the containers.. that power draw seems very high.. way too high imo.
if you want to have a CV stationairy with just the growplots running, you also have to sustain that.. doesnt seem to make much sense..
The way I see it: its a big space where cargo gets stored in.. how is that using power? The way it uses more power is because we need more thrusters to get it moving.. and thus burn more fuel when we are on the move.
I dont see the logic in them costing extra...
