In previous versions of EGS, the starter system contained at least one planetary remnant that provided Promethium, Pentaxid, Erestrum & Zascosium. That was fine and was the go-to location for those ores to get your first CV fuelled up and out of system.

Now, under the current and previous version, that planetary remnant is now a Polaris owned Alloy Production Plant, which has a single trader in the hangar. That trader BUYS Zascosium Alloy but does not sell either Erestrum or Zascosium ......

Hallo!

Ich habe erst ein paar Tage Empyrion und überlege ob ich einen Hoover zum Erz abbauen bauen soll. Beim rumprobieren mit defekten Hoover stelle ich erstmal fest wie schwer das Ding zu steuern ist und offenbar keine höhere Erzausbeute statt findet gegenüber mit der Hand.
Wenn man das Fahrzeug beherrscht geht es halt dann schneller.
Bieten Bohrer an Fahrzeugen keine höhere Erzausbeute oder ist diese eher so minimal höher das man davon erstmal nichts merkt?

Update v1.7
I tested the following MODs with the ModLoader in 1.7. The ModPackage (ModLoader.zip) with the working mods can be downloaded from the attachment here.
Install: Download ModLoader.zip and unzip it to your [EGS]\Content\Mods directory.

The following mods work (MP only):

How to configure Multi Turret limit ?

Hi,

I really dont understand the decrease in this limit, since this is not an very usefull unless you have several angles covered.
Anyway, I would like to configure back the limit to 4 for Multi Turret on hovers, how can I do that ?
I understand I need to change the BlocksConfig.ecf , but what ?

Human/Alien Crew Guards

Hi folks!

I've been playing on a dedicated server using the Reforged Eden scenario with a couple of friends for a while now.

I recently purchased a couple of crew members (1 of each), and used the guard block from both. I know I've seen guard crew patrolling around in a base and was hoping that this would be the case on my CV as well. But it seems as they just want to stand there, is there a trick to getting them to patrol?

I realize they are just deco and I don't want to interact...

How do *you* take on shielded POIs?

Hey all,

As I'm about to attack a Level 6 shielded Zirax Drone Base, I thought I'd ask how people generally go about this.

For me, any unshielded POI generally goes as follows: I use a Tank. In essence that means a shielded HV with an Artillery Turret fitted and I manually fire this weapon while trying to stay outside of the POI's turret range. The Tank will usually also have a Minigun Turret or two to ward off Drones, but equally it will be quite nimble to retreat...

How do *you* take on shielded POIs?

There are still "big" features to be done in the future, like NPC, Techtree, Research, Skill etc pp ... but in opposite to those, what is on your wishlist for Empyrion in terms of QoL additions or changes?

Which changes or additions would make your life easier in certain circumstances. This time: think small.

SV shields are pretty useless...Buff them please

Just buff them up about 20-30% slower depletion speed. Currently, whatever you do on a battlefield with a strong SV is pretty useless. I know they reload fast, but for that you need to leave and go out of fire range, that's not a good mechanic. A shield reload that takes a couple of seconds (visible in the bar) and which consumes Pentaxid would be better for gameplay.
