Suggestion: Make accessing fuel tanks, ammo and cargo boxes faster/easier

I stand on my ship and press P.

Then I search through the list for whatever container I'm looking for. I should have this organized (Although I find organizing these items to sometimes be cumbersome process).

Then my eyes search for Access and then finally try to hit the little box. That's annoying especially when it comes to trying to quickly access turrets that are powered off or on.

I need to access the turrets much faster than I can now. Sometimes they waste ammo so I shut them...

Since next update will improve and speed up ship repairing, i wanted to test few things before designing my future CV exploration/combat ship. I wanted to determine where exactly NPC are aiming first, what modules are the most important to them (to determine what I need to bury deep in heavy armor).

I build this as my testing platform:

It's about time some documentation is supplied from the Dev's on how to use the settings properly and what is allowed (min, max), what will break the game and what won't.

Some Offical tools need to be supplied, not third party!
- tired of spending more time than required because applications in existence do something else than stated, I have now had to recover from backup twice! This doesn't make the players of your game very happy and makes your product look bad.

I want to know more about the RCS block.

I know that the RCS:
-adds the ability to rotate, point up/down and roll a vessel.
-is stackable, meaning you can add more RCS blocks to increase how much turning power(torque) your vessel has
-is rotateable in its orientation

What I want to know is:
-how many RCS blocks is enough?
-does changing its orientation effect which axis gains more torque?
-any other tips, tricks or little known details about the RCS block.

I decided to try a friendly competition and see how fast we can go from escape pod to destroying the Masperon Drone Base (fortress) core. I finished in 6 hours 22 minutes. I'll be trying to beat that time now!

Everyone is welcome to try and see how fast they can do it. Post your results if you complete it! :) Settings are:
- Omicron start
- Medium difficulty (leave all the defaults it sets)
- Seed 730915625 (or do a different seed if you like)

What's the deal with Rockets and Missiles?

I'm really just asking what I might be doing wrong BUT...

Homing missiles often fly off in a straight line. Expensive.
Missiles whether fired by a T2 Rocket Launcher OR via the SV style launcher seem to have a range NO GREATER than 350-400 meters. I can deal with that but why does Gamepedia or whatever wikia state 700 meter range?

Why does it seem that the gatling gun is much more powerful than the 135mm missile? Drones are goners with the gatling gun but it takes 2 stupid missiles OR T2...

First this is intended for servers, public or private.
These files are all in the dedicated server folder.

I havent been able to get this running in single player as some of the files are slightly different so its just for servers sorry.

There are a thousand different reasons this error can be triggered in windows 7, vista or 10.

I discovered that my AMD CPU when jumping to turbo frequency started to have these power failures at a regular basis, basically your PC reboots for what seems like no reason at all.

In Empyrion that's when I was joining my own server, the CPU cores 1, 4,5,7 all jump in frequency, and in the windows event log it showed the PC is at fault not the program triggering it.

I tried everything on every...

Couple of requests for this thread:
1) Anything that can move counts as a ship, so GVs. SVs, and CVs.
2) I want to keep this mostly about the pictures, so if you're interested in how someone designed their ship, please PM them.

Salvage option for Multi Tool

I suggest we have an option in our Multi Tool radial menu for Salvage. Point it at the structure and get a confirmation to salvage <name>. If yes, then the entire structure is "destroyed" and all materials that would've been gathered by individually disassembling/deconstructing the structure would go into the player's factory to be used on the next blueprint. There could be a time limit for this as there is to spawn a blueprint. I also will note that anything in containers should be lost, so...
